In May 2013 was made the first meeting to present the efficiency of public lighting system, a model all made in Italy.
The first level of intervention could be identified in the replacement of magnetic ballasts with modern electronic ballasts; the new ballasts are able to be managed independently and stand alone with service schedules included (day / night) taking care of the specific seasons. With the adoption of our ballast it is possible make savings from 42% to 63% (just in cases of grid very dated). Another benefit is detectable by the electronic compensation of power lines by reducing the reactive power or reducing the costs.
The second level of intervention concerns the adoption of LED armor, the cost of the armor has gradually decreased over the years but remains much higher than ballast. In favor of this solution are the savings, when compared with old grid and with electromagnetic ballasts, can get to 63%, a better performance compared to electronic ballasts.
Both solutions also offer the possibility of remote control of the lighting network, further optimizing the costs.
